Do You Need a Building Permit?

By on May 28, 2014 in Blog

Talianko Design Group’s recent blog is on building permits and how a lot of clients say they are not intending to obtain them upon remodeling. According to their article it is against the law to not get a building permit when it is required, and so checking with your states rules is a priority. You put yourself and your home at risk if you begin these types of projects without looking into this aspect. At Joanne Jakab they aided a busy wife and husband to create a luxurious bathroom that could ease their nerves after a long and hectic day, or allow them to start off their day in tranquility. They gave them a bathroom that could cater to their busy schedules but could also allow them to take their time with a tub and deluxe shower. Their original design wasn’t built for their needs and was outdated and dark. Joanne Jakab provides some inviting photos of the makeover. The bathroom itself has better storage, which allows the husband and wife to keep their things separate, yet provides enough lighting to be inviting and pleasant. They used dark colored woods to give it a warm feel since this house is in Canada, and they paid quite a lot of attention to details (giving them a faucet with jewels, and a chandelier over the...
